Sunday Groceries

Beautiful spring onions and fresh plums at the grocery store today!  Painted them after painting the mangoes with my wonderful watercolours.  Check out my instagram for the process photos @lome.lome! 

Bright Mangoes

Was given a beautiful set of watercolours as a gift and tried it out by painting these mangoes!  They were so beautiful at the grocery I couldn't resist purchasing them even though they were rather costly.  The set of watercolours used were from a tester pack from Deserres, the brand name is Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolours.  I'm very excited with these colours and can't wait to do more paintings with them!

Starting of the Group Film

Current animation project I have been working on with a group of eleven people.  Here are some interior layouts of the main character's room without the props. 

Interior with props, hope I made it clear enough that the main boy character has an interest in dogs!  

Interior of the kitchen, tried to experiment more with the style our group decided upon.  It's a mix of sketchy line and blocked out shapes with different textures.

Third Year Film

My inspirational sketch idea for my third year group film.  The basic logline is about a determined chef is challenged by a powerful king to prepare the best tasting dish in the world.  It wasn't chosen but I'm keeping this one for my mental library of fourth year thesis films!

Katamari Damacy Self-Insert

A tribute to one of my favourite games "Katamari Damacy".  Tools used includes Photoshop's Pen tool and played around with different hues but decided the original looked the best! 

Another Fruit Bowl

Studies from fruits I found around the house.  Closeup of the fruits I have finished painting, hopefully I will update the full painting after I tackle the challenge of the glass bowl and white towel.  Breaking out of my comfort zone and painting in detail, it's really fun and frustrating.  Fun because I get to take my time adding all the lovely colours I see and frustrating because my lighting is the sun which has set but I am still not finished haha.
